Anastasia Mavridou
Senior Research Scientist, KBR Inc. / NASA Ames Research Center BioAnastasia Mavridou is a Senior Research Scientist at KBR Inc. at NASA Ames Research Center and the Technical Lead of FRET, NASA's open-source framework for transforming structured natural-language requirements into precise, formally analyzable specifications. Her research lies at the intersection of requirements engineering, formal methods, and the verification and validation of safety-critical systems. She develops methods and tools for specifying and assuring complex aerospace and autonomous systems, including approaches based on formal analysis, model checking, runtime monitoring, and requirements formalization. She received her Doctor of Science in Computer Science from EPFL, where she worked with Joseph Sifakis and Simon Bliudze, and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Vanderbilt University's Institute for Software Integrated Systems. |
